My race?!!
for the general description: made up a race generally called the "treeshadows" called that because they are forest creatures who spend a lot of time on trees. Their villages are underground however they stay there during the winter and late autumn.
Abilities: The main reason they are called treeshadows are that they can make themselves temporary translucent, that way they are hard to spot between the leaves. They are good and fast climbers and can cling at branches with hand, feet and tail as well.
Features: they are coloured in varous earth colors there are only very few blackhaired ones. Very big ears they can literally hear everything up to the heartbeat of a mouse so its almost impossible to sneak up on them or even come close enough to see them ^^every treeshadow has a white line on the nosebridge, claws, and wear usual human clothings. They have a turnable big toe on their feet they could climb from a tree head down or write their name with their feet the tail is almost like a fifth wheel for the treeshadows. They can snatch little animals who pass under a tree with their tail. They'd probably make great pickpockets if tamed ^_^
Weaknesses: They love shiny objects to the point of being careless just to get them they don't like gold that much though, they prefer silver, smothed glass, gemstones, jewels, nacre and things that dazzle in rainbowcolors (like sopabubbles :0 ) Treeshadows are shy yet extremely nosy they sometimes sneak into a human village to steal things food clothings jewels etc. They greatly dislike noise and too crowded places (with strangers) they use a deafening magic in case of a thunderstorm.
Social details: Although they are individual hunters (less creatures make less noise) they enjoy each other's company during winter they tend to sleep cuddled up into groups to warm each other. They care about hygiene and prefer building the villages close to streams due to that.
