oh man!! i just love today's programmes so much!! first we had the i-can't-catch-the-name percussion band to perform all those latin music for us...wow it was so amazing..at least to me it was la...to woei lin that poor gurl..guess she didn't enjoy it much :p haha!! see la!! percussion instruments are so widely used...so powerful!! even one small little instrument can make a difference in the music!! from something small like the castanets...to something big like the congas, bongos, marimba!! haha i'm so proud to be a percussionist!!! even though i can't claim that i'm as good as before because so long never touch drums already (though i still practice at home with my drumsticks :p )..but oh man...imagine one day i can make music just out of all these little little things...so african!! so portuguese!! so..oh..spanish!! love spanish!! they're so romantic!! the guy sing so well!! the somthing de souza...he crooned into the mike and made me swooned :p (err did i use the words correctly? :p )
haha then next is the SAJC music awards!! woohoo!!! xianan peishan!! u two rock my world!!! i'm so happy that they won for that category!! haha can't stop myself from screaming when they were singing Wu Ding...aihh..if xianan went unnoticed in SA it's really really a big pity...she's really good...oh man...then another song that i heard her sang was the theme song for Anastasia the cartoon...Love is a river i wanna keep flowing...something like that..oh man she duet with peishan again...it's just so cool!!! Gloria Li Xianan!! i'm your most loyal fan in SA!!! Koh Pei Shan!! Love you too!! :)
but problem is..how come the guy who sang the Music of The Night became the most popular? okay i admit he did a very very beautiful piece of the song...but then come on...he's trained lo!! he also said he's classically trained...the limelight should be on those who was not trained and yet sing very well...aihh...anyway it's over...i'm glad i did my part for my friends...
that drummer is super cool!! last year's MA winner is really the benchmark of how a real band should be..at least at student level la...the hairband guy kept showing off..walk here walk there...i was looking and hoping that his hat will fall right off and make a fool of himself la!! but he's good-looking..what to do? :p but sorry horr...still not as handsome as ming dao...oh i shan't start talking about him here if not my heart will just burst!!! okay back to the band...they're real good man...the drummer is super super super power!!! admire him so much!! don't think i'll ever ever be as good as him :( but i still think darrell and jeremy got more skills than any of them...that's why i'm still proud to be part of darrell's band...even though now it's just a name hanging by our mouths and no more practices were held this year and will ever be held anymore..but i still treasure those jamming sessions with those guys man...they're just...one word...cool. though i must mention that our singer sucks la...too bad can't be the perfect band that everyone is expecting us to be...especially on Dinner Nite...with that unhappy incident...grr...just thinking of that makes me boil again!!
have to stop here now...taking a chinese anchor test in 5 mins time and i'm not even in the lt yet :s
